Generation Chinatown
Youth Artist-in-Residence Program
We’re proud to announce the launch of a new youth artist-in-residence program! Generation Chinatown is a neighborhood-based artist-in-residence program for high school aged youth in San Francisco, designed to foster a space for experimentation, creative leadership, and create opportunities to sustain cultural power within Chinatown’s future!
As a youth artist-in-residence, you will receive a $1,200 stipend, a materials budget for artmaking, shared studio space, guided group mentorship from a teaching artist, and build community through art. You will also get to plan, develop and materialize your creative projects and co-curate a final group exhibition at 41 Ross.
Applications are now open to all SF high school youth with an interest in exploring the arts. Deadline: 1/27/23 at 11:59PM.
