BRAVE MIGRATION
When I first came here, people told me to go back to my country, and that I didn’t belong. I felt frustrated and very sad. I wondered why I came to this place with a new language and people— everything new.

Immigrants are like birds and butterflies which migrate in search of a better life. Despite my bad experiences, I like being here, fighting for myself, my family, and my community. The red represents justice, and the orange symbolizes my courage to move forward, despite the racism and discrimination that immigrants face.

遷徙的勇氣
我剛來的時候，有人會趕我回我的國家，說我不屬於這裡，弄得我很沮喪、傷心，不懂自己為何偏要來這樣一個陌生的環境，人、語言，一切都是新的。

移民就像鳥和蝴蝶一樣，都會為尋覓更好的生活而遷徙。儘管路途艱難，但我還是喜歡在這裡，為我自己、為家人和社區奮鬥。旗裡面的紅色代表正義，橙色則是不畏歧視、繼續向前的勇氣。

MIGRACIÓN VALIENTE
Al principio cuando llegué a los EE.UU, la gente me dijo que regresara a mi país, y también que yo no pertenecía. Yo me sentí frustrada y muy triste. Me preguntaba porque vine a este lugar con nuevo idioma y gente – todo nuevo.

Los inmigrantes somos como pájaros y mariposas que migran a nuevos lugares en búsqueda de una vida mejor.. A pesar de mis malas experiencias, me gusta estar aquí, luchando por mi misma, mi familia y mi comunidad. El rojo representa la justicia y el anaranjado símboliza mi valor para seguir adelante, a pesar del racismo y la discriminación que los immigrantes enfrentan.
