Abby Chen, head of contemporary art and senior associate curator at the Asian Art Museum called Hong Kong born Canadian Artist, Ho Tam "one to watch." Tam's multidisciplinary work explores themes of identity, migration, queer experience and cultural memory. Tam recently completed an artist in residency at 41 Ross, an art gallery, interactive creative studio and community resource space co-founded by the Chinatown Community Development Center and the Chinese Culture Center of San Franciso. Tam created works rooted in local histories and collective memory.
