[KTSF26] Bay Area Artist: San Francisco screen printer Leon Sun



Screen printing can be traced back to China 2,000 years ago, this craft has survived to this day, and many artists use it as their creative channel, and this episode's "Bay Area Artists" unit takes you to meet the screen printer Leon Sun in San Francisco.


Sun Zongliang said: "My name is Sun Zongliang, I am a painter, I can use silk screen printing, and paint oil paintings, and take pictures."


Sun Zongliang's current creative studio is a small room with plenty of light next to the kitchen in his home, and the main principle of screen printing is to first design patterns on the screen plate, and then print the ink on the substrate such as paper through the scraper, and the creator uses different colors of ink to draw a work with clear lines.
