[SF Chronicle] Historic Chinatown storefront to become S.F. Chinese Culture Center’s first-ever permanent home
Colorful lion dancers performed acrobatics and drum songs Friday in San Francisco’s Chinatown to welcome the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco to its new and first-ever permanent home.
Officials and community members gathered for celebration of the purchase of a new home, currently an empty storefront that will be renovated into an exhibition space, arts studio and community hub. There’s no opening date set.
