This is the catalogue for Wu Guanzhong’s one-man exhibition which toured the United States during 1989-1990. Generously illustrated with both of his oil paintings and Chinese ink paintings of landscapes, this publication also features essays written by noted academics on Wu’s life, his artistic development over the years, and the style and methods of his art. The appendix includes a list of seals used by the artist, his biography, an excerpt from Wu Guanzhong’s writing, a glossary of Chinese names and terms, and a selected bibliography.
