[World Journal] Multicultural Art Exhibition "How I Keep Looking Up" at the Chinese Culture Center

"How I Keep Looking Up," an interlingual, inter-ethnic public art exhibition featuring 16 female migrant workers, began its free exhibition at the Chinese Cultural Center in San Francisco on the 18th after a year of preparation.


In an art workshop run by artist Christine Wong Yap, the 16 migrant women workers made flags that represent them based on their own immigration experiences. During the Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade on February, they participated in the 16.1-mile parade and were displayed at the Chinese Cultural Center celebration that night.
